About DSAJ

The Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville (DSAJ) was founded in 1989 by a handful of families who recognized the need for a place where the Jacksonville community could receive information, support, and guidance for their loved ones with Down syndrome.

Today, DSAJ supports more than 1,500 individuals, families, and community members. The organization assists families from prenatal diagnosis and early intervention through the school years and into adulthood, providing programs, resources, and connections that help individuals with Down syndrome achieve their full potential.
